WD-40_® Specialist_® Spray & Stay Gel Lubricant

Bought this new WD40 thinking I'd be the cool kid on the block, unfortunately when I used the spray with the precision nozzle the liquid sprayed all over at the junction between the head and the nozzle.

I bought this in fall and used it once. This spring I tried to use it and it would not longer spray. The can feels nearly full, but nothing comes out.

I received this product for testing. I used it in my squeaky garage door. It worked for about 5 opening and closing’s but the squeak was back. I tried it on my back door which was also squeaking and it worked perfect.

WD-40 Specialist Spray & Stay Gel Lubricant No-Drip Formula is exactly that. Wd-40 with less drip and run off which is great for keeping things clean and moving. effective method of lubricating and/or protecting vertical surfaces where "regular" WD40 or other lubes want to run off - such as garage door hinges, rollers or tracks. Dual use applicator (a spray and a pipette) is handy.

Sprayed this inside the chute of the snowblower to see if it would help with today's slush. Of course, it didn't prevent freezing, but it did prevent a *lot* of problems - only had to to unclog the chute 3x on a 150' driveway. To finish-up the driveway, I sprayed it on the old steel flat shovel and as the temp dropped, no freezing slush stuck to the blade.

WD-40 is the duct tape of the tool and household squeaks/rust buildup world. I have like 10 cans so I always have one handy. Not kidding, I’ll be at someone house and hear a squeaky door and say “Why don’t you hit that with some WD40? Because you never think of buying it! Well, I just happen to carry one in my purse!” LOL. I’m almost that bad. The new gel formula is amazing. I had to take down a sliding glass door that’s a hundred years old, but I didn’t want the regular formula leaking and dripping everywhere. The gel worked like a charm. The door? Just like me, there was life in the old girl after all! Good stuff. Janis

What a great buy, the best part is no mess! Stays where you spray and works great! Was able to fix several squeaky doors and hinges in minutes with the quick, no mess spray. Highly recommend and any lubricating project.

This gel stays in place well. Used it on an overhead bathroom vent fan that was squeaky. Took care of the problem, although I have to reapply every other month or so. It's a really old, worn fan, but WD-40 gel means I won't need to replace it for a long time.

Tried this as a fee sample. What it says it does, it does. It is a light oil grease that stays more concentrated on where it is applied rather than drain down or run off...but...it could be better. A short quick spray results in a lot of product being applied with a large overspray on everything around it. That is a waste and a mess, if your target is smaller than a 6 inch circle. This product would be better if the delivery could be smaller, less robust, more measured. The lubricant is great, but the product would be more valuable, the utility better if the volume of delivery could be measured and lower.
