New Products, A Custom Chase Truck and Social Influencers Demonstrate the Brand’s Impact

SAN DIEGO – Oct. 21, 2024 – “We are a brand, not a can” – that’s the WD-40® Brand message at the 2024 SEMA Show, where it will debut new innovations beyond the iconic WD-40® Multi-Use Product, feature a partner vehicle display and engage fans through interactive activities such as a scavenger hunt, product giveaways and influencer meet-and-greets.

WD-40 Brand will demonstrate the breadth of its brand by showcasing products from the WD-40 Specialist® line and debuting its latest innovation, WD-40 Low Odor. Set to hit the market in early 2025, the product boasts the same trusted performance as the WD-40 Multi-Use Product, the Original WD-40 Formula, now with less smell – ideal for indoor jobs at home, on the job or in the garage. Beyond the Original WD-40 Formula, the brand offers more than a dozen heavy-duty solutions as part of the WD-40 Specialist line, including products like Penetrant, Silicone and Contact Cleaner. Attendees can explore the product line and receive a sample of the latest addition, WD-40 Specialist Degreaser and Cleaner EZ-Pods.

On display will be the custom WD-40 Brand Chase Truck, developed in partnership with Trad Ronfeldt, founder of Team Racing and Development (T.R.A.D.), and designed with input from fans at SEMA 2023. This year, the NORRA Mexican 1000 tested Chase Truck will make its second appearance at the SEMA Show, now in its final form, and serve as the centerpiece of an engaging scavenger hunt. Fans will have the chance to test their knowledge of WD-40 Brand and its products, with opportunities to win exclusive SEMA giveaways and a grand prize toolbox valued at $2,000, featuring the full WD-40 Specialist line.

Throughout the week, fans can visit WD-40 Brand at booth #50107 in the West Hall to engage with the brand, meet its influencer partners and receive exclusive SEMA collaboration merchandise. Automotive content creator and after-market parts retailer, Throtl, will be at the booth on Wednesday, Nov. 6 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The recently launched viral sensation, Big Time, will also be at the WD-40 Brand booth on Thursday, Nov. 7 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. On Friday, Nov. 8 from 9:30-11:30 a.m., TikTok sensation and WD-40 Brand’s biggest fan, Gator, will be at the booth to hand out one of his favorite products, the WD-40 Precision Pen.
