The Vaccar Company, lead by builder Aaron Vaccar, is hard at work on the WD-40®/SEMA Cares Boosted Bronco. Helping bring the build to life are the numerous build partners who have donated parts and accessories for the vehicle. After the show, the Bronco will be auctioned off to benefit SEMA Cares. Through SEMA Cares, proceeds will benefit Childhelp®, an organization that provides services to abused and neglected children, and the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund, which offers scholarships to students entering the automotive aftermarket. WD-40 Company has partnered with SEMA for eight years and, to date, WD-40 Company has raised more than $800,000 for the SEMA Cares charities through vehicle restorations and auctions.

As performance enthusiasts today, most people are accustomed to having access to whatever performance parts they need for their vehicle readily available at their local dealer. It usually never crosses anyone’s mind who invented these products? Who was the first to identify the need, then develop and manufacture that product?
Since the very early 1950s, B&M has been at the vanguard of the growing automotive aftermarket. Racers themselves, B&M’s founders identified the needs of local racers and street performance enthusiasts, and developed products to fill those needs. As the industry grew so did B&M. And as racers went faster, B&M developed products to help them break the records they just set.

James E. Winner Jr. began marketing The Club® after his Cadillac was stolen, despite its factory-installed alarm. An Army veteran, he remembered his tour of duty in Korea and how he secured his vehicle’s steering wheel with a chain to prevent theft. The concept: If you can’t steer it, you can’t steal it™. In designing the steering wheel lock, Winner worked closely with law enforcement autotheft squads and even a professional thief. As many as 50 prototypes were developed and tested in high crime areas before the National Fraternal Order of Police, which represents more than 235,000 police officers nationwide, endorsed the product.
