WD-40, used on automobiles to penetrate stuck bolts and coat engine blocks, is now easier for auto mechanics and enthusiasts to use on large surface areas.
The WD-40 Big Blast, unveiled at this year's Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo in Las Vegas, provides an easier way to deliver product quickly and efficiently. A new, wide-area spray nozzle allows the user to cover larger surfaces in less time, freeing up more time for assembly, repairs and modifications. Also, engines and equipment covered with WD-40 using the Big Blast receive the benefit of a protective coat to stop rust and prevent corrosion.
"The Big Blast makes total coverage simple," said Rob Fleisher, director of marketing for WD-40 Company. "Undercarriages, engine blocks and bumpers benefit from a coat of WD-40 to prevent corrosion, stop rust and provide a shine. The Big Blast makes the process easier than it has ever been."
The Big Blast launches in early December 2003.
